THE GIDEON’S

THE GIDEON is the umbrella ministry for the Men at COV. The GIDEON’S aims to build men of character, courage, integrity, disciplined and spiritually focused through regular meetings where they are able to bond with one another, network, fellowshipping and discussing about critical issues particular to men and the home.

ELDERS GROUP

This group comprises of those who are 40 years of age and above. The purpose of this ministry is to provide additional fellowship opportunities for this special group of people. Furthermore, the Elder group seeks to reach out to their peers who are not involved in any church and have no relationship with the Lord.

THE ABEGAIL’S

The Abegail’s is the women's ministry group for all women at COV. The group seeks to develop the TOTAL WOMAN, by developing the spiritual, physical, emotional, and social aspect of the women. The group’s meetings include prayer and fellowship sessions organised around various events and breakfast meetings. They also routinely organise Talks and Seminars where members are provided with insights pertaining to how to become a TOTAL woman!

COUPLE’S FELLOWSHIP.

The Couple’s Fellowship Ministry aims to equip, enrich and strengthen married couples, and help establish solid family structures based on godly foundations that are anchored in Christ. We provide a means for encouraging and supporting couples in their marriage relationship. Couples get an opportunity to connect with other couples in the body of Christ through fellowship, opening up avenues for supporting and encouraging one another. Events organised by the ministry include Seminars and workshops, and social events like BBQ Nights, Bowling, Date nights or Couples night out, Games night Outreaches.

NEXT GENERATION

Next Generation focuses on training our youngsters to be like Christ as they grow into adulthood. The ministry has an age- tailored approach that adapts the curriculum to the needs of the children. The vision for our work in Next Generation is derived from Jesus’ words in Mark 10:14: “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these’’. Through the Next Generation ministries, children will experience the unconditional love of Jesus, find assurance of salvation, acceptance in the beloved, and develop their faith through their commitment to Him. Everyone is given the opportunity to express themselves, develop their potentials and be of service in the household of God. Chapel of Victory, Milton Keynes is committed to making disciples of children and preparing them to share the love of Jesus with their friends and family.

THE VICTORY WELFARE

This department ministers to the needs of the less fortunate and serves to fulfil one cardinal point of our vision which is to engage in social reformation. The group ministers to the needy in the community and are always available to attend to anyone needing assistance at any time. We provide groceries and articles of clothing. The group aims to convey the love of Christ through sharing the gospel in a practical and compassionate way.

EVANGELISM & FOLLOW UP TEAM

The mandate of this group is to continue to light the fire of evangelism making it the focal point for every activity we do in Chapel of Victory. This group continues to challenge us with new and invigorating ways of reaching the lost and the dying for Jesus, and equally follow up those attending church for the first time.

KITCHEN MINISTRY

They cater for Church functions, caring for God’s people with the love and attention they rightly deserve. The Kitchen ministry focuses on Church activities by providing adequate catering for church events and programmes.

AESTHETICS MINISTRY

This ministry caters for the beautification and decoration of the sanctuary for worship times. They equally see to the day-to-day cleaning and sanitation of the church venue and its environs.
